Tree lined bridleway using a disused railway line passes over on old road bridge as the sun sets in summer, Themelthorpe, Norfolk.

The Themelthorpe loop, or Curve, linked two lines previously owned by rival networks. Midland & Great Northern (M&GN) trains ran north-south, Great Eastern Railway (GER) trains ran east-west. The curve’s construction under British Rail made it the sharpest bend on the UK network. It is now the route of the Marriott’s Way long-distance bridleway, here seen on a summer evening as the sun sets behind the trees that line the route, the canopy now meeting in places to form a green tunnel.
